Temporary Ban, " Unacceptable Name " ? - Guild Wars Forums

Hi, I just got disconnected from the game, I was afk-ing in Kamadan. With an error of some sort ( 0=45 ).

So I'm like what the hell !?!? Was this report user-generated ? Or from ANET ? Maybe someone wants my name ?

Thank god I wouldn't be able to play only for 71hrs.

"Unacceptable name" is the reason stated, as you can see. I have 6 characters, and their names are definitely " Acceptable ".

And second, if the name was not acceptable, why would the game let me create at all ?! Shouldn't they inform me of the name that is " not acceptable " ? What kind of policy is this ?

And now what, are they going to make me change it and pay for it ?!?! ( I don't even know which one they're referring to. )

I'm kinda surprised because I've never had a problem with anything in this game. I'm gonna contact support because this is simply ridiculous.

Has anyone had this issue ? Thanks for reading..

And no, I haven't used any derogatory words, racial slurs or any words that might insult a person, country, race or whatever you can think of.

-You were banned because something about one of your character names can be interpreted as offensive. Sometimes this is not obvious (it might mean something rude in another language).
-When your account becomes unbanned, you'll have to change it. It won't cost money though.
-Only support can help you with this issue. They should be able to explain which name it was and why it was deemed inappropriate. Given that there's nothing we can do, there is little point leaving this open.
